As I mentioned in several of my blogs and “Webzine” Articles in recent weeks, more and more houses built and renovated over time, including things are often found in kitchens trade. First, it was the great “Sub Zero refrigerator type, then the style of many commercial (up 6) the gas burner stove, double ovens and heavy and sometimes multiple dishwashers. At this stage I must say that many of these features are wonderful, even for the home, especially small of you enjoy cooking and entertaining. I do not fall into this category, the best thing I make for dinner is reservations. </ P>

I lived for over 8 years during the 1980s in Los Angeles. Although one of the houses I owned was a large (10,000 m is big for me) the house in the Hollywood Hills that was built in 1929. Before I bought a complete redesign of most of the features of the house had been undertaken. Not only did he Sub-Zero refrigerator was he had two that were built side by side. I am a poor boy from the south. After his arrival with the money to buy the house, I do not know how we would never shop enough to fill two of those fridges. The kitchen has Corian countertops also included (the state of the art in solid surface materials at the time), double dishwashers, multiple sinks throughout the kitchen, wall ovens 3 and 2 cooktops gas counter 4 burners for a total of 8 burners. These things are rare and only found in larger homes. Although at the time, I bought the house, I would never imagined needing all this time while we lived there, we organized a wedding for close friends with over 300 customers (the bride would live as swans swim in my pool … That’s where I draw line) and at least part of July 4th at which we welcomed over 200 of my “closest friends” (it’s in California to talk about everything and everyone you know or have never met). C ‘ then I understood why people who are receiving a lot of wants and needs of the large kitchen. Even if your home is only the designated holiday destination for your family, the convenience of having an additional room capacity additional equipment may be interesting. Compared to today’s standards this house in my old age would not even phase most people, and in fact would probably have been completely torn off and renovated over the past 5 years for update. </ P>

modern version of this house would be replaced with granite or Corian something even more exotic, large retail chains, cranes and develop installation and now the pot filler faucet can be added to the list of things that start to become mainstream in the kitchen. A pot filler faucet is a great idea for your kitchen. quickly fill large pots. Fluctuations pot fill valve on the highway when not in use. These valves save your arm back and eliminate probably 50 percent of the work when it comes to transport water from the sink to your stove . With a pot filler faucet over the stove, you never have to carry a pot full of water again reduces wear on you. Water is heavy indeed. One gallon weighs a little over eight pounds. This means you may need two or three gallons or maybe 20 pounds of water to a boil a large pot of pasta. During the holidays, the last thing you want is to be used by transport water from the sink to the stove, leaving you time to work in your private gym or go out and run this marathon usual vacation, or maybe just give you more time to spend with your guests and families. What a Bachelor consistent with nearly 30 years I count on Fran Byrd of the National Home Builders Supply for review of a woman. It is rare credit for its help and many citations, so today I’ll skip the opinion of a woman is not only mine, pot filler faucet… “As far as charges go to pot, they are wonderful. Especially for those large pots. You know how heavy things can be empty, but you fill it with water and you should seek help to end over the stove. I’m sure you know that filling the pot is mounted above or on the deck of the counter beside the stove and hooks in cold water (because we all know that cold water boils faster), you can OLE fill this big pot there on the “stove. … My answer is that a pot???. Most plumbers </ p>

would be no problems install a pot filler faucet, if he has time to get a different plumber. Most loads require a single pot of cold water line. This line can generally be installed in 30 minutes or less in Most houses are under construction. It may be more difficult when renovating an existing kitchen depending on accessibility to existing water pipes and the wall behind your stove may require some cutting and pasting. Many times, the lines water can be run from the rear of existing cabinets (such as lines of ice machine are renovated). The location of the pipeline that feeds the faucet filler pot is very critical. If this pipe is in the wrong place, the valve may be too low or there might not fold completely against the wall. You will need dimensions as the height of the stove top burners above the finished countertop height and height of your larger pot. If we add all these dimensions tell you the minimum height above the desk of the tip of the valve must then add another inch to be sure. </ P>

Now its time to choose the faucet that you want. Style, finish, price etc. are all things to consider. You should also make sure you choose the faucet has two distinct and valves to avoid damage which could be caused by a dripping tap and remind your plumber you want a separate decision to tap the water line to the load pot. Once you’ve made your selection make sure the distributor or manufacturer to provide all the technical information you need and provide instructions for installation. So you’re ready to install and all together to cook your first cup of pasta, semolina, or if you are home. Patients have mine with cheese, butter and maybe some diced ham, thank you. A recipe for good southern grits can be yours for the asking. </ P>

The Florida lifestyle offers the luxury of enjoying the outdoors generally all year long. Homeowners can really take advantage of their outdoor space by opening up the sliding glass doors to the built-in kitchen.

Many lanai areas are underutilized. The addition of a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen creates a new focal point for entertaining. The lanai becomes a focal point of enjoyment. The kitchen can be large or small, depending on wants, needs and budget. The experience can be further enhanced with special lighting, media or reconfiguration of existing walls.

A new outdoor kitchen will include more than just a grill. Depending on your budget, you’ll want to consider your options for:

Extent of Use/Layout Ease of Clean-up Countertops Grill/Side Burners Exhaust Hood Sink/Wet Bar Refrigeration/Ice Maker Cabinetry/Storage

Extent of Use/Layout

If you know from the outset that this is an area that you will use frequently, and entertain many guests you want the size and function of the area to meet those needs. An efficient kitchen space will offer smooth transitions from workspace to workspace.

The layout of your outdoor kitchen should be planned with this in mind, even if you can’t initially afford to do everything. You can always add-on as your budget allows.

Ease of Clean-up

This is an area to be enjoyed and it should be easy to maintain. Investigate the durability of the products and the finishes that you choose.

Countertops

Stainless steel is a popular option for appliances and sinks because it is resistant to rust and corrosion. Granite, tile and concrete are popular surface choices because they are resilient in many climates.

Dining/Bar/Seating

You need to plan the seating and how many you can accommodate. Wide bar/seating areas offer flexibility for dining and serving.

Grill/Side Burners

There are a myriad of styles and options available for outdoor grills and side inserts. Just like your indoor kitchen, there are many manufacturers with products of varying qualities. Your decision will generally be guided by your overall budget. You may want to consider a grill with side burner inserts. This will give you greater versatility.

Most grills and burners are fueled by gas/propane. If your home has natural gas or an in ground propane tank, you can tie into the existing supply. If you don’t have a gas connection, you can opt for propane tanks under the grill. If you go with the tank option, consider installing two tanks so you can easily switch from one to the other without interruption while cooking.

Exhaust Hood

An exhaust hood is also an option. This could be especially helpful in confined areas and heavy use of the grill.

Sink/Wet Bar

Just like your indoor kitchen, you can opt for a single or double sink. Stainless steel is a favorite. You might want to consider the way that the sink fits into the counter and cabinet. A counter that overlaps or is flush with the sink will make clean-up easier.

Refrigeration/Ice Maker

Like grill options, there are a myriad of styles and options available for outdoor refrigeration. Just like your indoor kitchen, there are many manufacturers with products of varying qualities. Separate wine refrigeration and ice makers are also popular. Your decision will generally be guided by your overall budget.

Cabinetry/Storage

Drawers and cabinets can be customized to accommodate your needs. You might want to consider “pull-out” options for things like the trash to keep clutter to a minimum. Cold storage drawers offer a great place to store foods waiting to be prepared without having to run back and forth to the indoor kitchen.

The fronts of cabinets and drawers should be resilient to climate and moisture. Popular options include stainless steel and dense hardwoods that are weather resistant.

Getting Started

Are you still ready to enjoy your private oasis? Once you have your plan, you need to consider implementation. Tying all of the elements together requires various skills. Unless you have specific experience, you should consider hiring a professional contractor with experience.

A professional can help you layout the design and point you in the right direction with appliances and finishes. They will professionally build your outdoor kitchen and your job will be to enjoy it.

Countertop ice maker dispenser for home use – portable, mini ice maker machine. The no-plumbing domestic ice maker. The European minimalist look can be matched with the stainless design. Look for Bosch’s new range designer line, the Evolution series and Integra series, which offer an assortment of cooking and convenience features with clean, European styling.

Not everyone has room for an ice maker in their refrigerator. This is where freestanding ice-makers really come in handy. If you’ve ever opened your freezer, you have certainly seen a bin, filled with ice cubes. It’s just a matter of pressing the lever on the front of the refrigerator, and ice comes cascading down a hatch and into your glass. Now you can have the same thing on the countertop. In most kitchens you will find a variety of machines – most people have a fridge, freezer, cooker and microwave, the basic modern essentials for home cooking. However, in recent years we have seen a plethora of new kitchen accessories and gadgets become available and many people have invested in them, finding them really useful.

If you live in a small home, apartment or even an RV, the compact size of a countertop ice maker dispenser might appeal to you. In the case of a storm that might leave supplies low, you’ll be able to make your own ice. But beware if they break. They are all snapped together and you have to break the plastic to get these units apart. Check the label and if it is made in China you probably are out of luck. I had a machine for less then a year and it stopped working, the ice tray broke and the motor will not turn on. The manufacturer will not do anything because it was out of warranty.

Ice machines produce ice by using a pump to pour water intro a refrigerated ice tray. When the water freezes, the ice is loosened by a heating coil so the cubes can be moved into a collection bin. Portable ice machines can be very small, suitable for a dorm room, a counter top size, which is great for a family, or an under the counter size that is ideal for a small restaurant. The Bev Air counter top ice machines comes with a patented cleaning technology which is easy on you. Selecting the right ice machine can seem like a daunting task when you consider the wide variety of models available. Selecting the proper unit for your needs is crucial to running a smooth operation.

The Manitowc ice machine is the nation’s most popular and has a stainless steel finish, which is easy to clean and maintain. The Summit unit has a platinum finish door with black cabinet. And there’s the Hoshizaki commercial unit as well. Some countertop ice maker dispensers make chipped ice for personal beverages, while other machines make larger cubes. The machines that make smaller, chips of ice are better for offices or business hallways.

Some icemakers and bins now feature antimicrobial protection in plastic food-zone components that inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungus to help keep the equipment sanitary and working properly between cleanings. Some vendors permanently embed antimicrobial agents in select components of their ice machines during the manufacturing process. Not really sure if I want that or if I can just use soap and hot water when I need to. I hate chemicals.

So there you have it. A list of a few of the best and what to expect. Find a good website with sales on the ice makers and contact them about what you’re looking for. They might be able to make a deal for you.
