I’ve had mine about a year now and we bought it for use in the RV on the road. Sometimes we end out in the boonies and too far from an ice house to buy bags of ice. I bring along plastic grocery shopping bags and fill those up to keep in the RV freezer. It creates new cubes about every 11 minutes on the medium size setting. I just keep a plastic gallon jug of fresh water next to it and keep the rotation going until there is enough to fill a cooler.
