How get ice maker to work again?

I have a decade-old ice maker inside of my freezer Amana who left work. In the past, I have brought to life by blowing hot air on it and gettting the rut of ice it. I tried this and it still does not make ice. Any ideas on what I can do? I just noticed that when I melt the frost on it and without the blade and dropped the ice, then when it refills with water leaks in the water bottom of the icemaker. Looks like I need a new ice maker?

is the ice feeler gauge in the correct position now that you’ve freed the ice from the blades?

try lifting the arm up for several hours, then drop it and see if it makes ice. My icemaker had ice frozen inside aluminum tube that fill tray, you can remove it and melt any ice that has formed in it. Hoe that helps

One thing to try: find another control that could be pushed through the back of the box holder of the ice. It may look like a pimple on the back of the freezer. If you are sure that when you put in the bin that is committed on the button (sometimes off the track). Some refrigerators are they as safe guard to stop making ice when the bin is removed (in addition to the gauge metal rod).
